Tour Information

What to expect

The typical snowmobiling trip starts with the guests arriving by private vehicle from local hotels. At Alpine Country Rentals, guests will read and sign a waiver and get equipped with snowmobiling helmet, goggles, and avalanche gear. The guests will then drive their own vehicle to the chosen trailhead, following the guide truck & trailer. Areas will be used according to rider groups' ability and according to weather, snow and trail conditions, and the need to integrate with other users.

At the trailhead, guests will participate in a safety talk including touring procedures, snowmobile riding skills and avalanche safety. Each guest rides one snowmobile. Riders must be at least 16 years of age with a valid driver's license.

The day includes riding on groomed trails as well as technical alpine riding if the group's ability permits. Our guides love the never-ending task of finding untracked powder.

What to bring / wear:

  • Snacks, Lunch, Water.
  • Appropriate Shoes: Winter boots, Snowboard boots. Must be waterproof. NO HIKING BOOTS.
  • Layered clothing: Inner Layer, Fleece, Snow Jacket, Snow Pants, Gloves.
